Description
Perched tall between two towering Siam almond trees which keep the house shady and cool, Birds Nest House enjoys visits from kingfishers, hornbills, dusky langurs and all manner of wildlife. Located at the edge of the property just a one minute stroll to the swimming beach, and yet very private, we think we have the best of all worlds here in our aerie.
Comprising about 90 m², and consisting of a large bedroom surrounded by 2 decks and a spacious slate floored bathroom that is open to the trees, one truly feels connected to nature in this house. On two sides, folding (plantation grown) mahogany doors open up to face the greenery and the other two sides have opening windows and doors which admit abundant airflow and light. One awakens to the sound of songbirds chirping all around and a dawn stroll on the beach is just a whisper away. Wander back home for breakfast and then find yourself back on the beach for the swimming tide – everything is close at hand.
There is a small but complete kitchen and you enjoy the privacy of your own self contained house surrounded by nature.
Sleeping arrangements
One large bedroom upstairs with king size bed and a second similar size bedroom downstairs with king size bed or two singles. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the ground floor room is equipped with air conditioning. Maximum 4 guests
Please note the spare bedroom downstairs is connected to the master room upstairs by an outside stairway. Therefore, we would like to advise you that the downstairs bedroom is not really suitable for children under 12 years of age.
One thing we would like to mention regarding the location of Baan Rung Nok is that it is located on the Southern border of our Club alongside “Walking Street”, where the bars sometimes play music. Some of our guests do not notice the music, whilst other guests are occasionally disturbed by it. We have a downstairs room that is more soundproof and can be used by guests needing a quieter evening. Our rates have been lowered to compensate for this inconvenience.
